Privacy
ZakatTrack does not sell your financial data, and we do not show advertisements. On iPhone, Apple bills the monthly or yearly plan. On the website, Stripe handles the card. Card numbers are never stored on ZakatTrack.
What we collect
Name, email, hashed password, and session cookies. Settings such as your Nisab preference. Manual assets and liabilities you enter. If you connect a bank, we store account names, masks, types, balances, and an encrypted access token on the server only.
Bank connections
Bank login happens in Plaid Link, never on a ZakatTrack form. We do not store banking passwords or account numbers. We do not collect transactions, identity, or income products.
How we protect it
Production traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Two-step verification with an authenticator app is required before Plaid Link is shown. Plaid access tokens are encrypted on the server.
Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. That removes your login and stored financial records, including linked banks and history. A website plan billed by Stripe is canceled. An iPhone plan billed by Apple must also be canceled in App Store subscriptions.
