What a plan includes

Review the services before you subscribe.

Figures are estimates based on the settings you choose. On iPhone, Apple bills the plan. On the website, Stripe handles the card — we never store it.

  1. 1. Overview

Nisab, Hawl, and a Zakat estimate

One screen shows whether included wealth is above your selected Nisab, how far Hawl has run, and an estimated amount when the cycle is complete.

    • Gold Nisab is the value of 85 grams. Silver Nisab is the value of 595 grams. You pick which method to follow.
    • Hawl is 354 days. It starts on a valid crossing above Nisab and resets if included wealth falls below Nisab.
    • The estimate uses 2.5% of included wealth. Missing or stale bank balances are marked unavailable — they are never treated as $0.
  2. 2. Banks

    Connect accounts through Plaid

Link checking and savings in Plaid Link. Bank passwords never come to ZakatTrack. Two-step verification is required before Link is shown.

    • We store institution and account labels, masks, types, balances, and an encrypted access token on the server. Tokens never go to the browser.
    • Live balance refresh is limited to 2 times per person per day, with a short wait between refreshes. Last successful figures stay on screen.
    • You can disconnect a bank at any time. Reconnect is offered when the bank needs a new login.
  3. 3. Manual wealth

Add cash, metals, and debts yourself

Banks are optional. Enter cash, gold, silver, and other amounts, plus liabilities you want listed. Only items you include are used in the estimate.

    • Toggle which items count toward Nisab and Hawl without deleting them.
    • A change that would start or reset Hawl asks for confirmation first.
  4. 4. History

Daily snapshots and a payment record

Each day we keep a snapshot of included wealth, Nisab, and prices used, so you can see how the estimate moved.

    • Reminders for Nisab reached, Hawl start, and the estimated due date — without advertising.
    • When you mark Zakat paid, the ledger records it. If wealth is still above Nisab, a new Hawl can start.
  5. 5. Privacy

No ads, and we do not sell financial data

Passwords are hashed. Plaid tokens are encrypted at rest. You can delete the account from Settings; deletion is a hard delete, not a disable flag.

    • We do not collect bank passwords, account numbers, transactions, identity, or income products.
    • On the website, cancel on the Plan page with one confirmation. On iPhone, cancel in App Store subscriptions. You keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
